Did you ever know I was such a bodybuilding fan? 

But getting back to the point of today’s article. Chapter 3 of Potholes: A Tale of Murder, Road-Rage and Romance is out and read by me. I had a lot of fun with this chapter in bringing Uncle Carlo to life. And also had fun with a very panicked Jill! Hope you enjoy.

Ever wonder what Jill’s Uncle Carlo sounded like? Well, he’s brought to life in Chapter 3. I loved this chapter. I took the inspiration for Carlo from three of my real uncles. My Uncle Rich who is very much like Carlo in love and spirit. My Uncle Carmine who loves to talk, enjoys coffee and cake; and will always bring the best bread to dinner. And lastly an uncle who is no longer with us but would protect his family and friends with a ferocity should anyone cross him. I miss him dearly, and that’s my Uncle Willy. Even though I didn’t get to see him much in recent years, he was always in my heart. That’s why Carlo is the embodiment of all three. Hope you enjoy Chapter 3.
